What it does

Standalone preliminary wood truss workflow. Generates Fink, Howe, Pratt, Warren, mono, and scissor truss geometry, applies top/bottom chord and panel point loads through a load combination, runs a 2D pin-jointed truss analysis (shared with the Frame Analyser truss solver), and reports preliminary CSA O86 style axial tension, axial compression, and slenderness checks per member using standard dimensional lumber sections.

What it does not do

Preliminary member checks only. Material values are placeholder/demo and must be verified. Metal connector (truss) plate design, fastener and connection design, permanent/temporary bracing, combined axial+bending interaction (solver is axial-only), bearing capacity design, fire, and vibration are NOT included.

Reactions and elastic joint deflection are reported for information only.

How to use it

Use for preliminary wood truss member sizing and screening only. Final truss design, plate design, connections, bracing, and sealed shop drawings remain by the truss supplier or qualified engineer.
