What it does

Preliminary CSA O86 based vertical wood member workflow for single studs, repetitive stud walls, jack stud packs, king studs, and built up posts. Checks compression parallel to grain, bending, preliminary axial plus bending interaction, slenderness, compression perpendicular to grain, out of plane wall stud bending, bearing continuity, and load path warnings.

What it does not do

Placeholder material values are not final design values. Exact CSA O86 stability equations, full built up member fastening, multi storey load path stacking, fire design, CLT compression panels, and final sealed engineering design are not implemented in this phase.

How to use it

Use for preliminary vertical wood member sizing, load path review, and source controlled design planning only. Verify all species and grade values, effective lengths, bracing, bearing, built up member fastening, and code factors before project use.
